New England Warrior Benefit for Spec Ops
Friday, June 22, 2012
We first heard of the New England Warrior Benefit through an email, then ran across their booth during Laconia Motorcycle Week 2012
and thought that their cause was worthy enough to pass on to our readers, especially with the Fourth of July right around the corner.
The New England Warrior Benefit is trying to raise money through an online auction for five foundations whose primary function is to support the families of wounded and fallen warriors. For their online charity auction they’ve got five custom Special Ops-themed Dirico Motorcycles up for grabs. Each bike features unique artwork and are powered by big Harley-Davidson V-Twins. The five charities they’ve selected as beneficiaries of the fundraiser represent various branches of the US military, including The Navy SEAL Foundation, The Wounded Warrior Project, The Special Operations Warrior Foundation, The Semper Fi Fund and No Greater Sacrifice. The auction ends July 3, so you’ve still got time to get your bid in. If you’re in the Boston area over the fourth, the New England Warrior Benefit will take place July 3 at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center and a big celebration is in the works.
