The party at the 2012 Lone Star Rally just kicked up a notch. Rock & roller and biker Bret Michaels will be playing a “Fan Jam & Free Concert” on the Seawall at this year’s rally. According to a Lone Star Rally news flash:

“Legendary, multi-platinum recording artist Bret Michaels will perform a free concert at Beach Central Park (21st and Seawall) beginning at 7:30 p.m. He will perform music from his upcoming album and a few takes on some classic Bret Michaels’ hits. Rally promoters promise “This show is going to rock the island!”

Everybody dust off those old Poison cassettes, dig out the doo-rag, and get your lighters ready for some good-old fashioned hair band fun. This year’s Lone Star Rally is shaping up to be the biggest, best yet. Charlie “Jax” Hunnam will be making a guest appearance, Michael Ballard and Angie are setting up “The Full Throttle Lot,” they’ve added a new metric bike show and plenty of respected custom bike builders will be on hand. Motorcycle USA will be there reporting daily from the rally, so stay tuned next weekend for photos and blogs from Galveston. The 2012 Lone Star Rally is November 1 -4. Let’s party on The Strand!
