BBC Rally adn Show
Check out the British Biker Cooperative Rally and Show at Eagle Cave Natural Park in Wisconsin, July 19-21, 2013.
If the massive crush of bikes, people and traffic at an event like Sturgis is not to your liking, and you have a preference for scenic country roads with dose of rolling hills and broad river valleys thrown in, maybe the British Biker Cooperative (BBC) has just the thing for you.

Set in the Driftless area of southwestern Wisconsin, the BBC’s annual Rally and Show (happening July 19-21), lets you enjoy well-paved roads with sparse traffic, plenty of sweeping corners and amazing scenery when you aren’t at the rally site, Eagle Cave Natural Park. As always, there will be plenty of talking and gawking at motorcycles too.

As motorcycle rallies go, the BBC Rally and Show isn’t the biggest, but it isn’t the smallest, either. Typically, several hundred participants show up for the event, and despite the BBC name, it isn’t limited to British bikes. The BBC folks are a gregarious group and riders of all makes and styles of bikes are welcome.

This will be the BBC’s 33rd renewal of its rally and show and they’ve learned a few things about how to host a great event over the years. Start with the site—Eagle Cave Natural Park is high atop a ridge in Richland County, Wisconsin, about 75 miles west of Madison on US Highway 60 on Eagle Cave Road. The campground is set up to provide enough separation for effective use of a “quiet” camping area and “not-so-quiet” campground. Tours of Eagle Cave are available, there’s an on-site restaurant serving up the “Road-kill Café” feast on Friday night, toilet and shower facilities and a paved parking lot.

Activities include live music Friday and Saturday night, a poker run, motorcycle games, the “Burner Run” hosted by four-time world champion top fuel motorcycle drag racer and BBC member, T.C. Christianson (think of the movie “Hogslayer”) and of course, the bike show on Saturday. The BBC has a 50/50 raffle, door-prizes, T-shirts, and other great memorabilia for sale as well.

Plan now to attend and see why the BBC says, “Long live the Limey!”
