Bruce Springsteen's Spring Ride Around Florida
Thursday, March 20, 2014
'The Boss' Bruce Springsteen got a break from performing with a spring ride around Florida on his Harley-Davidson, where he stopped in a local watering hole, enjoyed a cold one, and made a couple new friends. Sounds like a great day to us! (photo courtesy of brucespringsteen Instagram)
Seems like “The Boss” is just like you and me. He likes to ride his motorcycle, enjoys a cold brew, and likes to meet new friends in small places.
A couple of days ago, Springsteen took off for a day ride on his Harley through Florida’s Palm Beach County along Southern Highway. He chronicled his travel with a great set of photos and captions posted on the Bruce Springsteen
website. During his travels, he made the revelation that “Florida is flat…,” advocated for the wearing of motorcycle helmets, popped into a local watering hole, discovered a little roadside philosophy, had a cold beer and made some new friends. His post also shows he’s got a good sense of humor. Here’s the funny quip “The Boss” wrote, courtesy of brucespringsteen.net

We’d love to ride with you, Bruce! We just got back from doing a little riding in Florida ourselves, which we chronicled in our “Chasin’ History on the 2014 Indian Chief Classic
” article. Next time you want to ride, give us a shout. We know of a dive bar or two you might like to check out!
