West Coast Choppers Closes Parts Department

West Coast Choppers
Want something sporting West Coast Choppers' badging? Then buy a bike, 'cause that's the only way you're going to get it now.
Jesse James of West Coast Choppers is pulling the plug on parts production to the public. The following statement is posted on the WCC website:

“To all our customers, thanks for choosing West Coast Choppers for your bike parts. We appreciate the business. But right now we’re focus on what made us great to begin with: bikes. So if you want an air cleaner or a set of pipes, there’s only one way you can get ‘em and that’s the old-fashioned way… on a bike. Watch for our new supa-fine expanded bike selector tool coming soon, and configure the West Coast Chopper of your dreams.”

James is reported to be pulling in the reins at West Coast Choppers and will oversee all motorcycles fabricated in the shop, putting the emphasis back on customer service and top-notch quality. Of course, this means no more of the popular WCC Maltese Cross Air Cleaners or CFL frames. But it is also a way to battle knockoffs and establish a measure of quality control.

Regardless, it will be good to see James focusing more of his attention on producing rad bikes instead of selling his celebrity.

I just found out that you are no longer selling parts, That SUCKS! real bad I feel you make the best best qualty peices that I have every seen. I built a CFL in 07' with fu pipes the maltess air cleaner your rear fender and a few more parts and enjoy it very much, accept for the pot holes in wonderful Michigan. I currently have a villan tank but I was just trying to maybe puchase the tank that you have on the gorilla bike but I guess I'll try the swap meets. There is know one that can compete with you, thank you for the quality workmanship that you produce. if we are ranking builders it would go.

glenn ferris -why  July 13, 2009 08:54 AM
hey Jesse , i find you a great guy and realy alright ,you think like i would if i had money to blow away . i always get sick to my gut when i see you destroy such works of art . i came from a poor family of 6 and never realy had the opportunities to have such nice toys . all my life i had to be contented with watching other men and women enjoy the rewards of their jobs . I, on the other hand had to raise & feed 5 children and a wife. i had a 1956 chevy with a 4 speed tranny that i put in myself after takin out the old heavy cast iron 3 speed. but as usual i never got to fulfill my dreams of building a muscle car motor to fish it . i also had a 1973 chevy nova only to have that towed away while i was at work. i couldnt afford to get the right motor and tranny to complete the process. thats been my lifes story . i feel as if i am destined to die one day without having a work of art in my garage ,to show off at these car meets . ihave always been a steel fabricator only to design for others .i also have my very own HOBART mig WELDER that welds up to 1/4 inch steel. i dont have the brains to do math! but! i can make practicully anything if i have dimensions and a picture . i would like to get a planisher and an english wheel as well as other fabrication tools such as pines bender and sheet metal brake and a band saw and bench grinder. My job would be to design displays consisting of various wire gauges. anywho , how i got off the subject at hane is beyond me ha ha ha ha ha . (smilin here) anywho, i just thought i would let you know how i felt when you destroy something as beautiful as your Monster trucks and cars etc etc etc. but you know what? i still have to watch your show ,it gets me excited to see you smash up stuff he he he he he. you have an awesome show. hit me back if you ever need to talk about anything ,wheather its personal or just about everyday stuff thats goin on in your life .AQUAINTENCES ARE A DIME A DOZEN BUDDY , but, TRUE FRIENDSHIP IS A RARE FIND and hopefully you;ll find a real friend as they say " You Only Get one in a LIFETIME. take care JESSE and have an awesome time on your next Vacation , Oh! one more thing , if your ever in the greater Northeastern part of PHILADELPHIA (the nicer area) stop by ,you can sleep over as i have two extra rooms and no more children ,im an Empty Nester Now and seems my step kids have forgotten where dear OLD DAD lives. it sucks to live alone and so poor i can barely live here and dont have enough equaty to move to the suburbs yet. take care JESSE your new Friend GLENN R. FERRIS, Age 54 and holding hahahahaha race - white if you need more information about me , just call me anytime day or night . P.S. i have spinal stenosis which limits my activities after a week or so. please don;t hold this against me .i look completely normal ....lol. Now Get my Pizza here NOW!!!!!! hahaha

All of you people that think Jesse sucks for getting back to basses of who he is. You suck. He did and is still doing what we all dream of. He started a sweet bisness from a frienda garage to become an atomic bomb. Ten years ago he had a dream and made it. He is married to one of the moast beutiful women on the earth. And some haw he still has a leven head. I'm tring like hell to do what he did and I can't amagin how it would feel tobe in his shoes. So jessy to hell with all of the credics!
