One good thing about attending events like the Cincinnati V-Twin Expo and Daytona Bike Week is checking out the latest and greatest products they have out there for cruiser and custom motorcycles. Nobody likes to pimp their rides like V-Twin owners. Pipes, paint, handlebars, engine covers, wheels – black it out or chrome it up, we do our share to support the aftermarket parts and accessories market. From the practical to the innovative, here’s a peek at some cool products aimed at the V-Twin motorcycle owner.

Crime Scene Choppers Rapide Headlight – Looking for a little something to set your bike apart without breaking the bank? How about trying something as simple as swapping out headlights. The scallop design and grill of Crime Scene

Choppers’ Rapide headlight might be just the thing you’re looking for. Rapide is the French word for fast, which is appropriate since vintage sports cars and hot rods were the inspiration for the design. The grilled light looks classy and cool. Stainless hardware, a mounting base, gasket and wiring harness are included. MSRP $299 - $369

Evil Engineering HT Bobber Style Belt Drive – All right, maybe we just like the name, but Evil Engineering puts out some heavy-duty open primary drives. The HT 2” Bobber Style Belt Drive is built with Evil’s patented Helical

Offset Tooth (H.O.T.) that is claimed to handle the massive torque of today’s high-performance powerplants. Evil claims that the H.O.T. set-up “can handle more horsepower by design than the same size straight tooth while still offering reduced belt drive-associated noise.” You can have it raw or polished and a right side drive option is available. Storz Performance Upgrades for the H-D XR1200 – After getting the chance to ride Harley-Davidson’s XR1200, I was hooked. Quick, flickable, tire-roasting power – it was one fun ride. The only way I see to make it even better would be to slap on the upgrades that Storz Performance Inc. has come up with for the XR1200. It starts with a 16-position adjustable steering damper. The Storz/Ceriani Steering Damper Kit comes complete with CNC billet mounts for the frame and fork tube. Follow that up by installing the KSB-1200-B Storz-Bub dirt track-style racing exhaust system. It runs up higher on the side of the bike than the stock pipes and looks sharp in chrome but is available in black ceramic coating as well. YSS racing shocks complete the performance upgrades. The shocks are adjustable for compression and rebound damping. A Saddlemen seat pad looks like it should provide more comfort with its gel inserts, and a billet shifter and footpeg kit rounds out the list of Storz Performance Upgrades. (*Check out the video for a full run down on Storz list of accessories) MSRP – Phone (805) 641-3560

Nashty Ol Fuel Bag
Nash Motorcycles Nashty Ol' Fuel Bag
Nash Motorcycles Nashty Ol’ Fuel Bag – Leave it to the brothers from Vancouver, Washington, to create something cool and practical. The Nashty Ol’ Fuel Bag combines a compact leather saddlebag with a handy fuel sling. The bag is just about the right size for a jacket and a few tools, while the Nashty Ol’ Fuel Sling is fashioned onto the front of the bag and comes with a 33 oz. aluminum bottle that holds an extra quarter gallon of fuel. It sucks running out of gas and pushing your bike along the freeway is embarrassing. The gas in the sling is good for about 10 extra miles, which is hopefully just enough to get you to the next gas station. MSRP - $329

Boyesen Power X-Wing – How about a little bolt-on power booster? Boyesen’s Power X-Wing claims to do just that. The X-Wing aims to get the most out of your V-Twin by increasing the airflow into the intake. Besides a boost in power, efficiency is claimed to benefit as well. The patented air vane requires no mods or adjustments to install. It fits late model carbureted and fuel-injected Harley-Davidsons. If it really does boost horsepower and torque without major modifications, it’s a steal at this price. MSRP - $129.95

Guilty Customs Square Girder Front End
         Guilty Customs Square Tube Girder
Guilty Customs Square Tube Girder Front End – Who doesn’t love the look of an industrial-strength front end? Guilty Customs out of Orlando, Florida, has hooked up with Paul Durfee of Durfee Girders to make one mean looking girder. Featuring a triangular design with chome-moly tubing and reinforced with TIG welds, Guilty Customs’ Square Tube Girder is claimed to withstand 58,000-lbs of compression strength. Old school stylin’ with modern reliability.
MSRP - $1825

Bare Knuckle Choppers Glass Jaw Velocity Stack – It’s the little details that can set your bike apart from the crowd. Bare Knuckle Choppers Glass Jaw Velocity Stack fits that bill. Made from blown glass, the stack fits S&S Super E, G, B and SU Carbs. The Glass Jaw Velocity Stack is available in red, green, orange, blue, yellow or clear. Open up that airflow and add to the cool factor of your bike. MSRP - $260 - $285

Marlin's Fork Stem Covers – Don’t like looking at the big bolt of your fork stem cover? Then check out Marlin’s Fork Stem Covers. Choose between an attractive clock or thermometer to replace the factory fork stem bolt cap. The covers are waterproof, shock resistant and have features that glow-in-the-dark when you’re riding at

night. Choose from several different face designs. Marlin has billet fork stem covers for numerous Harley-Davidson and metric motorcycles.
MSRP - $69.95 -$114.95

Reckless Rims Vigilante Wheels – When I saw these wheels, I was torn between “WTF?” and “those are kinda cool.” Mounted in the middle of each of the three spokes of the Vigilante Wheels is a replica of a long-barrel revolver, similar to the .357 magnum Dirty Harry used to carry. Cheesy? A little. But Strategic Machine, the parent company of Reckless Rims, has been in the biz for a while now and the workmanship is clean. At first I

thought, “Only in America.” Then I found out they’re based in Canada. But Reckless’ Doug Johnston said that the Vigilantes are popular sellers, predominantly in – you guessed it, the good ol’ US of A. MRSP - unlisted

Speed-way Motorsport Shelters – Everybody likes to protect their bike from the elements, but when you’re at a rally, this isn’t always practical. How does the sound of a retractable bike cover that offers full protection sound to you? It folds up in a convenient carry bag and takes less than a half-hour to set up. But think about it. Set it up in the parking lot at a rally or at a campground at Sturgis and you’ve got a dry, clean place to park your bike. It fits most motorcycles, has a retractable roll top cover, and is made of waterproof material. It comes with a small LED

light to make things easier at night and has a locking system for security. Speed-way also claims that you can park your bike with hot pipes without the whole thing going up in flames. A good idea for riders who attend a lot of rallies or whose garage is getting just too small for all your toys.
MSRP – Standard Size for Sport Bikes $299.95
Large Size for Touring Bikes - $399.95
