This Baseball Legends Star Raider was tricked out by popular custom motorcycle builder Nick Anglada. It debuted at the Long Beach IMS show and will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Club.
Nick Anglada Originals unveiled a custom-built, baseball-themed Star Raider to much fanfare last Friday in the Yamaha booth at the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, Calif.
Anglada worked with Seattle Mariners Superstar Ken Griffey Jr. and the Ken Griffey Jr. Family Foundation to make this celebrity slugger Star Raider motorcycle a reality. The custom bike will be auctioned off early next year to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of America, for which Ken Griffey Jr. is a long-standing national board member.
“This motorcycle represents a lot of committed people coming together and making a difference for the children served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” said Nick Anglada, owner of Nick Anglada Originals. “I truly enjoyed working with Ken Griffey Jr. and the Ken Griffey Jr. Family Foundation. Designed, fabricated, and painted in seven days, the motorcycle includes some radical paint and body work by Gator Customs, including patented Gator Glass on the coil covers and on the custom gas tank that houses six enclosed, signed baseballs from Ken Griffey Jr., Willie Mays and Hank Aaron, on the molded bodywork of the rear fender and over the custom paint with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America logo.
