Ami James of Love Hate Choppers is now using his talent to make jewelry like this brushed pewter Love Hate belt buckle (selling for an affordable $52).
Ami James, the popular tattoo artist of "Miami Ink" fame, is exploring a new medium for his creative talents - metalworking.
Ami's tattoo art and creative designs explode to life as he expands his medium from skin and canvas to precious metals. Larry Weymouth, a Boston-based jeweler, has been making custom jewelry for over 25 years. His close friends call him "Benj" and know him to be fearless when challenged to "step outside the box."
Ami and Benj have joined forces to create the "Ami James Jewelry Co." and will launch its first designs at this year's Biketoberfest in Daytona. Ami and his partner will be located at Destination Daytona, set-up with the Sucker Punch Sally's trailer close to the Arlen Ness Daytona store.
The first offering of the "Love Hate Choppers" jewelry line features details taken from Ami's original logo design. Ami tells us to also watch for these design details, as they will be incorporated into the accents of the new Love Hate Choppers being built by the unsurpassed talents of Sucker Punch Sally's.
