Victory Motorcycles Plans Euro Expansion

Wednesday, October 08, 2008
Victory Motorcycles, the motorcycle division of Polaris Industries, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary by announcing expansion of its European distribution into Germany.

Victory Motorcycles are currently available in selected European markets including the United Kingdom, Russia & Iceland, and in Australia, where Polaris Australia has opened a flagship store in Melbourne.

At the Intermot Tradeshow in Cologne, Germany October 7-12, 2008, Victory announced plans to make motorcycles available in the second half of 2009 in Germany.

OK it looks like I m flexing but I promise I m not even though the Icon Accelerant Jacket does inspire the ruff ryder in me. Getting to ride the Victory Vision Tour fostered that attitude as well.
On the heels of its tenth anniversary, Victory Motorcycles announced its plans to up its European distribution, including expanding into the German marketplace.
"As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we are excited about this next phase of our expanded international distribution. Germany is the largest European market for premium cruisers & touring models, and we intend to enter the market to meet the growing demand for Victory Motorcycles," said Mark Blackwell, Vice President for Victory and International Operations. "We are building on the strong presence we have achieved over 10 years in the U.S. motorcycle market, where we continue to aggressively build the Victory brand."

Victory Motorcycles are designed and developed at the state-of-the-art Polaris Product Development Center in Wyoming, Minnesota. The company's Freedom V-Twin engine technology, which power all Victory models deliver world-class quality. Victory enjoys the highest overall ownership satisfaction in the industry.

Victory has become the first successful American motorcycle brand to be launched by a major manufacturer in more than 60 years. Rather than embracing retro styling so common in the category, Victory motorcycles feature the most progressive styling on the cruiser market, industry leading quality and superb performance. All Victory Freedom V-Twin engines feature state-of-the-art electronic fuel injection.

Since the debut of the original Victory - the 1999 V92C - Victory has introduced a steady string of new models that have won numerous media and industry awards and have provided riders with the industry's highest consumer satisfaction. Victory offers models for virtually every cruiser market segment, including Classic Cruiser (Kingpin), Custom Cruiser (Vegas), Extreme Custom (Jackpot), Muscle Cruiser (Hammer and Hammer S), Touring (Kingpin Tour) and Luxury-Touring (Victory Vision Tour and Street models).

Plans for Victory to enter additional European markets will be announced in the future.
