Harley-Davidson’s celebration of Women’s Riders Month culminates this weekend with a group ride and a street party in downtown Milwaukee tomorrow. The group ride will start at the Summerfest Grounds and will finish at the street party that will be held at the junction of Milwaukee Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The event is free and open to everyone, so if you’re in the area, stop by and take part in the fun.

There will be live music and entertainment by local artists, a variety of Milwaukee restaurants will be on hand offering a little local flavor as they dish out food and beverage specials, and dozens of prizes will be up for grabs. A station called the ‘Thrill of the Throttle Ride’ will give people who aren’t riders an opportunity to climb aboard a stationary Harley-Davidson motorcycle to feel the rumble of a V-Twin and to shift through the gears. A ‘Special Rider Recognition’ is also planned to honor members of US and international motorcycle groups who have traveled to Milwaukee to take part in the event.

Ladies, here’s your chance to enjoy a motorcycle event established just for you. Men, here’s a chance to support our sisters in the saddle, mothers and daughters, wives and friends alike.
