ThunderStruck's Bike Show/ Street Party Sat.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010
It’s exciting times for Medford, Oregon’s custom motorcycle builder Mark Daley. Last week his award-winning bike Sniper took second place in the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building competition in Sturgis. Now he’s busy getting ready for his annual hometown street party, which happens to be the home of Motorcycle USA’s HQ, too. ThunderStruck Custom Bikes’ Xtreme Bike Show & Street Party is this Saturday, August 21 at Habaneros Mexican
Awww the smell of spent rubber rises up from the burnout pit at the Broken Spoke Saloon downtown during Sturgis 2010.
Granted, there may not be a burnout pit at the Xtreme Bike Show & Street Party this weekend, but who knows. There will still be plenty of fun in the form of live music, a custom bike show, food, friendship and a beer garden. Motorcycle USA will have a booth there, too, so stop by and get a free koozie or MotoUSA magazine.
Restaurant in downtown Medford. The address for the GPS-minded is 142 N. Front Street.

All of the rally ingredients necessary for a good time will be there – live music and broadcasts by local rock & roll station KBOY, food, vendors and a beer garden. There will also be a custom bike show. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and is only $10. Trophies will be awarded in categories ranging from full-blown customs to stock street bikes, metrics to a specialty class. The show is from 1-3 p.m. and winners will be announced at 3:30. Proceeds from the show will benefit The Boys and Girls Clubs of Jackson County, so the more people we get out, the more we can help the kids. Wish I had the parts to the Honda Fury project bike back from Cutting Edge Illlusions, I’d throw it in the show.
The Sniper was voted Best in Show by a panel of custom builders at the 2009 Las Vegas BikeFest Artistry in Iron show.
Get a chance to check out Mark Daley's award-winning custom motorcycle Sniper at this weekend's show.

Motorcycle USA will have a booth set up at ThunderStruck's party, so stop by and say ‘Hi’ to Tabitha this weekend. She’ll be handing out koozies, lanyards and copies of the latest issue of MotoUSA magazine, so check us out. You’ll also be able to scope out Mark’s extraordinary custom motorcycle Sniper that has won both the Artistry in Iron Award in Vegas and just captured second place in the world at the AMD show last week. It’s going to be a hot time in our hometown, so come party with ThunderStruck Custom Bikes and Motorcycle USA this weekend.
