Icon Launches New Limiter Interactive Site
Wednesday, December 15, 2010
Icon launched its new interactive site called Limiter today.
Out with the old, in with the new. Icon is all about the lifestyle, be it stunting or street, canyon carving or cruising. The manufacturer of hip street gear and apparel is now offering a new way to get your daily dose of the Icon lifestyle with its fresh Limiter interactive site
. Based on the Icon Moto blog, Limiter takes it to the next level with its community section that allows fans to create their own profile, upload photos and add the story behind the photo. Building a bike? Let’s see it. See some radical customs at your local bike night? Post ‘em up. Got a smokin’ hot girlfriend? Well, you get the point. Icon encourages riders to share stories about their local scene. The Limiter member with the most recent post moves up to the top of the page in the community list. To encourage people to become members, Icon will be choosing a Limiter user each month who will receive a box full of free Icon swag and a little shoutout on the homepage.
Icon’s Limiter just launched today! They’re giving away free Apocalypse stickers to new users. So far on the page there’s a video posted from a street party shot at the Indy GP, a piece about the Icon Sportster project bike and more. Fans of Icon, unite!
Icon says the new Limiter site will integrate Facebook and Twitter feeds to keep users abreast of the latest Icon chatter. New gear will be highlighted to keep you up to date on the latest stuff coming out of the Icon R&D department and there’s a mobile-specific format for those who are constantly on the go. Icon wants to bridge the gap between the company and people who sport its gear. Ride Icon? Then be sure to check out Limiter
and sign up to share in the lifestyle.
