Review
I bought a 2006 Midnight Venture. Traded a 1500 Vulcan. No looking back. I love the storage. The one touch openinig of the bags and tour box is nice. The tour box has a closing system that will keep the lid up, takes some getting used to. The performance if fantastic! That V4 1300cc motor really pulls nicely. You are looking at about 98 HP. You need it all because this thing is about 2 bowling balls short of 900 lbs. This makes it a bit difficult to walk around from the seat. You have to watch how you park, you don't want to push it backward too far. I am 6,4 235 plus and the ergos are great. I have some longhorn's on and it makes it a nice ride. Electronic cruise, am/fm/cb all make the ride enjoyable. Casset is a bit dated. The rub for some has been a "whine" from the motor/transmission. I have experianced it as others have. The dealers never hear it and won't reccomend a fix if they do. Have a ride for your self on one, make up your own mind. I love it!
