Austin Stroupe - 2010 AMA Supercross
AMA Supercross
rider Austin Stroupe sports the Scott USA Airborne series in Red/Black.
Scott is well-known for its high-quality eyewear. The moto industry knows it best for the goggles that protect our eyes with great styling and comfort to boot. Scott has been progressing in the apparel industry with new motocross gear introduced last year and now a new set of helmets as well. This is no small feat as the world of motorcycle helmets is a treacherous one with high safety, comfort and aesthetic requirements. Scott dove right in with the Airborne and Assault lids.

Both exceed DOT, Snell and AMA Racing standards which mean they’re off to a good start. Austin Stroupe sports the Airborne in his quest for Supercross glory, which is the more-advanced of the two offerings with a “pre-impregnated carbon fiber hybrid shell.” A more traditional alloy injection polycarbonate shell forms the Assault helmet. Check out the spec sheets provided by Scott below to compare these new motocross helmets. Scott also provides a dealer locator if you decide that you want to slip your noggin inside one.
