I just took this bike for a demo ride yesterday 03/13/2010. Victory SHOULD BE PROUD OF ITSELF...They got it right...This bike rides as good as a vision. I liked it so much I rode it twice on the demo rode.
The sound system is awesome with out any upgrades. I could hear the music loud and clear with the shield down and the bike moving. I love the fact that the volume rises as you speed up and decreases as you slow down to a stop. I wish Victory could adopt the vision's lighted badges in stead of the stick on..Great Bike....a must ride...

I love every model so far and I can't wait to make my first purchase which will probably be the Victory Vision. The Arlen Ness model looks super supreme.

Really nice..Only bike Id repace my Kingpin with..Has all the goodies of the vision in a more conventional style..Dont know i I like the crash bars or no..Price seems to be on target..Have not rode but have sat on one..Feels lite enuff..Should b nice in the twisties..Good ground clearance..Hope they will make some kind of lowers for the road bars..My kingpin has very good wind protection with lowers..No doubt this would be my next bike..Havent considered any other bikes for myself..Victory makes a RIGHTEOUS bike..Nothing else needed..Just add Rider..See you on the road..Ill be the one with the big grin..

Ya baby i've bend weating for a victory to put a roadking to shame,as far as weight, style, and proformance, the shrouds over the oil cooler is a good idea in case you hit a rock or high-way debre whitch always seens to put holes in things/ safety first. The battery cover keeps unwanted water or elements from messing up your turmanoles.
I love it!! One day im goin to trade in my 2001sc when my wife lets me, until now ill just keep dreaming :(

As far as the shroud at the "down tubes" area goes, please note that this is a 21st century chasis, very different from the old style bent tube way of doing things. I believe that the engine actually 'hangs' from the cast frame beam rather than sitting in a old fashioned cradle. The shrouds cover the battery, oil cooler, and other bitts. Could use some paint though, huh?

The shroud over the downtubes covers the oil cooler, and spreads the airflow out past the riders legs

This is a sharp bike....I Like it!!!!!!
Not as costly as the visions. This might
just be my next bike...The paint is off the chain!!!

Not sure what you mean by downtubes, but if you are referring to the exhaust pipes, I am sure they are heat shields. If you want to replace the exhaust, you can without changing the looks.

Floorboards, gauge cluster and radio controls are straight off the Vision.

Now that's what I'm talking about !!!
Hard bags that look like they'll actually hold a decent amount of gear.
Stylish fairing.
Awesome paint job.
But what's with the shroud over the down tubes? Hiding sumthin ????
