2012 Thor Motocross Flux Riding Gear Peek

Tuesday, July 26, 2011
For 2012, motocross and off-road riding gear and apparel brand Thor has released an updated version of its top-of-the-line Flux riding kit. The company has taken feedback from its riders including ’11 Supercross champ, Ryan Villopoto, in an effort to deliver the best performing riding gear on the market.
Both the Thor Motocross Flux Pants and Thor Motocross Flux Jersey feature an updated cut designed to be roomier and fit a wider range of rider physiques. The pant continues to be fabricated from a sturdy 900D poly oxford material but now features more perforation in the hip areas as well as the back of the pant. Furthermore, updated ventilation panels are used in the knee area to route air into the pant. Embossed leather paneling on the inside of the knees provide enhanced durability during repeated use as well as protection from exhaust pipe heat. The pants are available in three colorways in waist sizes 28 thru 38.

The Flux pant has been redesigned for improved fit and ventilation.

The Thor Motocross Flux Jersey is constructed from a new material with enhanced moisture wicking properties. Added perforation paneling has been placed in the mid-chest area for more effective ventilation. The arms also feature a more tapered design as to not get hung up on any part of the motorcycle in the event of a crash. Three colorways are available in sizes small thru double XL.

The Flux jersey has a new fit and offers better ventilation than before.

The Flux line of gloves has been replaced by a number of models based on intended use and/or rider preference. The new Thor Motocross Flow Gloves are most similar to the now discontinued Flux glove and are designed for a good balance of airflow, padding and exterior roost protection. Riders looking for even more protection will be interested in the Thor Motocross Deflector Gloves while the Thor Motocross Void Gloves are designed for riders seeking the most minimalist feeling mitt. Each glove is available in a variety of colors in sizes XS thru double XL.

Thor offers a range of gloves based on riding conditions and/or rider preference.
