Vega Helmet is the exclusive importer and dealer-direct distributor of Vega motorcycle helmets, including the new X888 (shown) and Mojave.
Vega, the leader in quality helmets and riding gear at an affordable price, announces the availability of the new X888 full-face helmet and the classic Mojave off-road helmet for the value-conscious buyer. Both helmets are designed for safety, comfort and solid performance.

“For those customers who are looking for an affordable helmet to meet straightforward needs, the Mojave and X888 are the best of the best in our value line,” said Jeanne DeMund, Vice-President of Vega Helmets.

“Vega is working hard to ensure that we have just the right helmet offering for each customer,” continued DeMund. “Some are looking for a helmet with the ultimate in convenience features, while others seek a pared-down version that will perform well without unwanted extras.”

The new full-face X888 comes with a 6-position, optically correct and scratch-resistant clear shield, with additional tinted, mirrored and anti-fog options available. Two shell sizes accommodate sizes XS-XXL, for superior fit. Ample ventilation is achieved through chin, forehead and rear vents, and a Wick- Dri anti-microbial fabric liner adds to rider comfort. The X888 meets or exceeds US DOT standard FMVSS 218 and comes in Black, Flat Black and the Red Daisho graphic. MSRP is $59.99 for solid colors and $69.99 for the graphic option.

The Mojave helmet has been a long-time member of Vega's offroad line-up due to its classic shell shape and overall
performance. Two shell sizes in specialty thermoplastic allows for a superior fit in sizes XS-XXL. To maximize air flow, the Mojave has forehead and cheek intake vents, plus dual rear exhaust ports. Extra large eye port and side traction plates hold goggles securely. New for 2013 are the Red Blade and Black Blade graphics with a UV protective gloss clear coat finish. The realistic Forest Camo option covers the helmet in a bark, branch and leaf pattern with an ultra-durable flat finish. Mojave meets or exceeds US DOT standard FMVSS 218 and is available at an MSRP of $69.99. The
Mojave Jr model is also available at an MSRP of $69.99 in sizes S, M and L.
