my first bike was a 1984 Honda Shadow 500, I was 20 years old, made it from Calgary to Banff in 45 minutes once. Alive ! That was before I realized that "the low rider goes a little slower"
Now I ride a 1984 Shadow 750,liquid cooled, shaft driven, once I get on the highway I switch into overdrive, the speedometer stays around 100-120 kmh the R.P.M's less than 4000. There is a little OD (overdrive) light on the console. Sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 weeks to get to Vancouver from Calgary now. well maintained it runs like a dream. Ride Safe Travis

Being a Phan from way back, I like the model name and especially the "font" they used.

Honda did well to come up with that.
