This bike rocks! I want one if it is sold in the United States. Its a ultra clean bike the way a bike should look with out the all plastic ugly motor look.

I'm having my mid-life crisis just from looking at these pic's. Honda, bring it here, I'll buy it in a New York second. There is just one thing I'd like to see on these bikes; a simple to operate "cam chain-tensioner" for the drive chain. But would that be too much to ask? I ask because I like to change the tires for the weather and riding conditions often and adjusting the chain is made easier if the cam chain tensioner is built-in. Hope to see thses bikes on our shores soon...

Retro's are nice in fact i bought a 919 cause it being a naked bike, but if Honda really wants to retro, why don't they build a "Freddy Spencer" Replica just as Kawasaki built the "Eddie Lawson" replica not once but if am correct twice. And if they decide to go another round on it again I just might pick me up one just to have. Somehting for Honda to think about.

Looks great to me! I'm all for it if the price is right.

Lets get to the real point, cost. Honda love love loves their bikes so much they price them to the point no one can afford them.
zman - I wanted the sportier prototype.  October 2, 2009 12:00 PM
This one does nothing for me. Looks heavy. I wanted the CB1100R. I couldn't justify the purchase of either, so I guess the point is moot.

Looks very retro, to a fault perhaps. Yes, we want more accommodating ergos and a 1/4 fairing is nice, but do we have to go all the way back to a steel tube frame? At least the Italians do those as a space frame design.
