The comments on the 2009 K1300GS very closely match my own on my ('06) K1200LT. The time comes when comfort surpasses ego but one still likes to blow the Harleys off the road. Enough power is enough, enough torque is enough, being big, bad and mean to the curves is a 'gotta have' and comfort in all weather and situations will always rate high. And BMW delivers just that! If trusty Silver doesn't have the ability to swing his spokes high in the air - well, so what. Started late, ended early, did 500 miles of Sierra Nevada today and I got off feeling invigorated and ready for some pickup hoops. How was your ride? Did you make it past the clubhouse?
