Yukio Kagayama
Name: Yukio Kagayama
Nationality: Japanese
Birth Date: 5/4/1974
Yukio Kagayama is a well established rider who has worked his way through the superbike ranks in Japan, earning him the right to race on the world-stage.

Yukio had a fine showing during the Silverstone WSB round, battling with Hodgson and the front runners during the 2003 season.

Moving into WSB under the Alstare Suzuki banner, Kagayama has yet to break through, but finished a solid 5th in 2005 alongside his championship teammate, Troy Corser. For 2007 he teamed with Max Biaggi to lead the Suzuki title charge but suffered with injuries.  2008 would prove to be another injury heavy season with three races missed due to injury leaving Kagayama to finish 11th for the championship.

In 2009 Kagayama piloted the Alstare Suzuki to a podium finish in Race 1 at Phillip Island, but it would be the only time Kagayama landed on the steps during the season.

Kagayama will return to the British Superbike Series for 2010 and ride for the Worx Crescent Suzuki team.
