Jason DiSalvo racing the Factory Yamaha R1 Superbike.
Setting records around the globe for being the youngest American in 125 and 250 World Grand Prix racing was nothing unusual for Yamaha's Jason DiSalvo.
That's because Jason started riding motorcycles before he was two-years-old. Jason was racing in Europe before most of his competitors were even thinking about a factory ride.
Young Dislavo joined the AMA road racing series in 2002 and turned some heads in the process. He put a lot of pressure on defending champion Jimmy Moore mid way through the season and almost won the Pit Daddy contest after the 2002 finale at VIR.
