Geoff May (99) was on the gas in the AMA Superstock series.
Geoff May is a true working class hero. The guy rode as a privateer the first few years of his AMA career. During the 2004 season he put on an impressive push in the Superbike class - finishing 5th which gained him recognition as the top privateer in the class.
May finished fifth in the 2004 AMA Superbike Championship with 15 top-10 finishes in 18 races and a best race finish of fifth. May also won the 2004 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Cup Final and set a new overall motorcycle lap record during a F-USA weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. His consistent riding and great work ethic earned him a ride with M4 EMGO Suzuki for the 2005 season.
May had a stellar 2006, with top-five results in both Supersport and Superstock on the M4 EMGO Suzuki. Mr. Consistent in '06, May never managed a win but many podiums. Sticking with M4 EMGO, May will try and shake the winless moniker and also vie for the same titles in 2007.
Geoff May joins Aaron Yates on the Jordan Suzuki team for the 2008 season and picked up his first career victory during the Superstock final at Miller Motorsports Park.
