Foremost Insurance Ducati s Larry Pegram.
Pegram is back racing in AMA Superbike for 2009 aboard the Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing Ducati 1098R.

Larry Pegram was born in Columbus Ohio and has been racing as a professional since 1988. Pegram grew up on the dirt tracks of America before entering the roadracing scene. Once he joined the FBF Ducati squad in 1999 he won his first superbike race at Willow Springs on the way to a fifth place finish in the championship.

Pegram has been kicking around the AMA Superbike paddock for over a decade now, finishing 10th in the 2006 Superbike standings as a privateer Honda rider. His career best run in the Superbike series was 1999 when he finished 5th overall.

In 2007 Pegram was equipped with a Ducati 749R in the Formula Xtreme class, allowed to up displacement on his ride to 850cc under new '07 FX rules. It may not be what loyal Ducatisti want most, but rooting for Pegram in FX is something.

The 2008 season saw Larry racing the new Ducati 848 against an onslaught of In-Line 4-cylinder machines. His effort netted a 4th place finish in the 2008 AMA Formula Xtreme Championship. Pegram is back racing in AMA Superbike for 2009 aboard the Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing Ducati 1098R.

Bobby Adams - Roebling Road Raceway February 7 1993  August 31, 2009 12:59 AM
Hi my name is Bobby Adams, I'm from Maryland, picture this,my girl friend and I drove down to Georgia so I could race and I had never been there,I raced at summit point and placed third, the guys that finished first and second said they were going to Georgia to race and I would have a good chance,so i listened and went.well I went out for my first practice ride and I was getting killed in the entrance of turn four but I was doing OK the rest of the way.I was telling my girl friend about this and Larry Pegram evidently over heard me and suggested that my front suspension was to soft,Larry and I started talking and from what I could tell he knew what he was talking about. when Larry walked away I changed my suspension.Well the reason I'm writing this is because I ended up winning the race and never saw Larry again to say thanks.that day was my last race because I had a baby girl and never could really afford to do it again.Just wanted to tell thanks for helping me make a memory for me and my wife.
