Previous Z1000s used a steel frame. The 2010 Kawasaki Z1000 uses an all-new aluminum frame similar to one used on the Ninja ZX-10R sportbike. The frame rails
curve over the engine, resulting in a narrow bike that’s easy to grip with the knees.
