Ryan Dungey - Hangtown
Ryan Dungey broke the wave of Kawasaki victories with an overall win at Washougal. The Suzuki rider will have a hard time keeping the momentum going.
The 2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Presented by FMF hits its stretch run on the weekend of August 16-17 as the series travels to the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" for the Honda Spring Creek Pro National. The Spring Creek Motocross Park always offers an exciting venue for riders and fans alike with its stellar racing surface and outstanding atmosphere.

Nestled in the valley of Southeast Minnesota, Spring Creek Motocross Park is sure to provide a demanding and challenging layout. The world's best riders will attack the longstanding circuit and put on a show for the thousands of fans in attendance, including launching off the notorious Holy Schmit jump, named for late local legend Donny Schmit.

AMA Motocross class points leader James Stewart, of Monster Energy Kawasaki, missed out on the action in 2007 and has yet to win at Millville. Currently in the midst of a perfect season, Stewart looks to extend his moto wining streak to 20-0. A truly remarkable run, he has led all but 13 of the 286 laps completed this season. Only one other rider in history has accomplished the perfect season, seven-time champion Ricky Carmichael. If Stewart can reach the 24-0 mark in motos and win all 12 events, he will instantly take his spot as one of the greatest AMA Toyota Motocross Championship riders of all time. With a 145-point lead over teammate Tim Ferry, he is in line to capture his first AMA Toyota Motocross Championship title in the premier class at Millville, given the advantage is at least 100 points after Sunday's action.

In the AMA Motocross Lites class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto also has a chance to lock up his third consecutive title, currently holding a 109-point lead. Throughout the season, Villopoto has fended off the challenges of top competitor, Rockstar/Makita Suzuki rider Ryan Dungey. Trading the lead on numerous occasions throughout the nine previous rounds, a hungry Dungey, of nearby Belle Plaine, refused to succumb to the pressure in Washougal, Wash., and held Villopoto at bay to take his first career AMA Toyota Motocross Championship victory, ending the Washington native's overall winning streak at seven in his home race. The stage is set for an epic battle entering Minnesota as Villopoto looks to lock up championship number three and return the favor, stealing a victory from Dungey at his hometown track.

James Stewart - Washougal
James Stewart has been unstoppable in the 450 class. His quest for a perfect season will continue in Millville.
In addition to the excitement on the track, Millville will provide a plethora of on-site activities to enjoy throughout the weekend. Attendees can test the power of the all new Toyota Tundra, take helicopter rides around the area, go fishing, and even take on an obstacle course and climbing wall. Fans can also take in a movie night, BMX course, and beer gardens. The younger fans can enjoy themselves at the Kid Zone, offering bounce houses, a swing set, basketball court, four-square pad, badminton, and volleyball.

Honda Pro National Week Presented by Scott USA leads into the weekend's festivities as hundreds of amateur racers gather for the Donny Schmit Memorial Amateur Race Days. Practice begins on Wednesday with racing Thursday through Friday.

Television coverage of the Honda Spring Creek Pro National Presented by Scott USA can be seen on SPEED, with an AMA Motocross class one-hour broadcast on August 23, at 10 p.m. ET and an AMA Motocross Lites one-hour show on August 26, at 2 p.m. ET.
