MT Smoker - Go Yamaha...  November 11, 2009 11:48 AM
Just put a deposit on a 2010 YZ250... Yes without the F, I'm old school and ride nothing but 2-strokes. I'm 38 and still have the LOVE for pre-mix, and wild power... Now that the rules are starting to change, AMA and etc. I wonder if the other 3 are going to bring back there 2-strokes... At least Yamaha keeps the dream Alive, Long Live the 2-strokes...
isaac - 2 strokes are beasts  September 18, 2009 06:44 AM
what i dont get is why people think the easier to ride 4 stroke is so amazing. when you race them your not really putting much effort in than the bike is. As a 2 stroke rider you really have to try and there is more competition in it making it funer and more of an enjoyable to ride/race. I think people that ride 4 strokes are scared of 2 strokes. If you took a 450 2 stroke and put against the 450 4 stroke the 450 2 stroke would hall ass while the 4 stroke with less hores power and tourque would be left in the dust.
derek - why 2stroke is better  August 11, 2009 09:49 PM
yeah its a lot liter its easyr to start it handles better its faster i would honetly go with the yz250 2 stroke
Shnapper - I hope they never die.........  June 29, 2009 09:28 PM
I own a 2008 Yz250, no matter how smooth a 4 stroke may be the 2 stroke maintenance cost over a 4 stroke valve eater is incomparable. I'll take the body slamming power hit of a 2 stroke before I let a 4 stroke rob my wallet of cash........Long live the 2 stroke machines!!!!
