Besides the keyed ignition, you also get the requisite indicator lights for high beam and the turn signals. The 450 EXC also comes standard with a tapered aluminum handlebar; the hand guards are options and were quite welcome in the Ohio woods.

The reflectors on the fork legs, the blinkers and the mirror immediately clue you in to the most obvious indicators that the 450 EXC is street-legal. But its dirt-worthiness isn't compromised as much as past efforts have been.
