Chad Reed is back on track after two sub-par races with a win in Indy - Indianapolis
Chad Reed took his seventh win in a strong performance in the Rogers Centre. He still has a strong cushion in the championship race.
Nearly 37,000 fans packed into the Rogers Centre for Round 12 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross tonight as the tour visited Toronto, ON. Kevin Windham took the opening victory in Heat 1 on his Torco Racing Fuels Honda in front of Oregon's Josh Hill on the factory Yamaha. Another Honda rider, Davi Millsaps, took Heat 2 on the Red Bull Honda with his teammate Andrew Short 21 seconds behind. When the gate dropped for the main event it was San Manuel Yamaha's Chad Reed who claimed the Progressive Direct Holeshot and Hill and Millsaps right behind.

Hill went down early while Windham was able to pass Millsaps after a crash by the younger rider on Lap 3. Millsaps regained the position on Lap 7 but again Windham made the pass for second on Lap 16. This time the veteran would make it stick and hold on until the end. Millsaps would hold the final podium position while Reed enjoyed clear sailing for the 20-lap race and his seventh win of the season.

"I think this year we have been saying that each race gets tougher and tougher," Reed said after the win. "I did not want to crash in the main like I have in the last few races. The track had a lot of ruts and you had to be smart. We had a great week off, and I flew home to Australia."
