I have a 2001 1200 custom which Is done in the 48 fashion. Wide glide with a pair of 16 inch fat boy solid wheel, peanut tank, hand tooled low pro seat, cropped front fender exile style, bobber rear fender, 130mtb90 michellin front, 15080b rear,...all for a mere $5500.00 the look that I get from nightster owner??? Priceless...

drumdon I ride a sporty and I promise you your big twin couldn't keep up with me on your best day I have had big twins, choppers, baggers and ughh baggers that craps great if you only ride on the highway. around town they handle like crap. this new sporty is the first factory sportster I am truly in love with most sporties need personal touch but this bike is sweet.

That tank needs to be painted..Leave the HD..fade out that HUGE "Sportster" lettering! Other than that, the bike looks awesome!

Roland Sands or Black TT Pipes, Sportster off the tank with a textured rattlecan finish, up the performance and mission complete.

They should take the "Harley Davidson" off the tank.

I love so many things about this new sportster - but that logo design on the peanut tank - ugh! The HD sign-off is nice, but why make the word 'Sportster' so prominent? Powder coat/matte finish it and the fenders and it would be even sweeter IMO.

Nice model! It is the best looking sportster in my opinion. Hopefully it will attract a lot of riders to the HD family. As a dyna rider the look of this sporty really appeals to me. Cheers to the moco style team!

I would love to take this sporty up in the mountains and ride those sharp turns. it looks great. Sportster was my first bike and It still has a great appeal to it.
DrumDon - So what

Looks like a sportster... just a new paint job and flat-bottom tank.. like I said, "So what?!.. It's a sportster"
