Credible sources within the MotoGP paddock are reporting that Colin Edwards has requested a wall be put up between himself and teammate James Toseland for the 2009

season.
In the off-season their crew chiefs were swapped and it looks like some serious tension is brewing in the Monster Tech 3 Yamaha garage. The swap was said to be at the request of Toseland, but Edwards claims he is happy with the change. Judging by the new pit-wall, there seems to be more to the story. This is the same approach current World Champion Valentino Rossi has taken with teammate Jorge Lorenzo since the beginning of last year, as the Italian has never been fond of the young Spaniard.
Toseland has had a rough off-season, marred by two horrific highsides in testing. The Brit says he will be racing in Qatar this weekend, but at what percent of physical fitness is unknown. The latest crash came just recently at the final Jerez test.
We’ll keep you updated with more insider information on all that is MotoGP from every round this year, so stay tuned…
