PNW Racer Tiger Lacey: 1982-2013

Pacific Northwest motocross racer Tiger Lacey has died at the age of 31. Lacey reportedly passed away at a hospital in Bend, Oregon on December 31. Cause of death is unconfirmed, with some reports citing a “sudden illness”. Lacey is survived by his wife, Dana, and son, Lynx.

Hailing from the small Southern Oregon town of Wolf Creek, Lacey currently resided in the Bend suburb of Sunriver. He was a prominent off-road competitor in the Pacific Northwest, having also competed in AMA Supercross and Motocross rounds during his career. He also competed professionally in the Arenacross series.

Posts on Lacey’s Facebook page state there will be a viewing for the fallen rider on Thursday, January 2, at the La Pine Funeral Home. A memorial ride is slated for Saturday at the Roseland dirt track in La Pine.
