Rossi Sick But Will Still Test Formula 1 Ferrari
Friday, January 15, 2010

Rossi (left) was let is out of the hospital after a small scare and is now on the way to test a Ferrari Formula 1 car in Spain once again. Oh what a life...
Reports from around the industry have nine-time Grand Prix champion and current Fiat
Yamaha rider
Valentino Rossi being recently admitted into a local Italian hospital for acute stomach pains and possible appendicitis. Luckily for the worldwide superstar, it’s said the appendix was merely inflamed and a regimen of antibiotics should heal everything. If not he’ll need it removed, something which I can personally attest to as being extremely NOT fun. In fact, of all the bones I’ve broken and blown-out knees suffered, nothing holds a candle to my appendectomy. Could this put him out of action? Apparently not for long.
It was also stated in a press release within the last couple days that Vale will test for the Ferrari Formula 1 team next week at the Catalunya circuit, something he says he has “aboslutly no plans on missing!” Last time he was in the Italian racecar was during the 2008 off-season. Said to be a proper full test, Rossi still denies any rumors that he’ll race F-1 after motorcycles. We shall see. The test is a reward to him from the Ferarri team for winning his ninth GP world title.
More info to come as it's available…
