Video Killed the Scribbling Star

It's time to make some videos, baby!
By trade I ride motorcycles and write about them. Done so for the last six years, getting into all this wonderful madness at the ripe age of 21, and I’ve loved every minute of it. It’s brought me all over the world and changed my life dramatically. This started with a three-year stint at Roadracing World, followed by two-and-a-half years at Cycle News pumping out a weekly magazine, and now onto MotoUSA, starting a magazine with the web-based crew of MotorcycleUSA.com and taking on the roll of Executive Editor for both the magazine and website. With this came a headfirst introduction into the hardcore web world, and a new chapter in my career. It’s been a steep learning curve, though equally rewarding.
It wasn’t until my recent change that I was welcomed to the world of video making. Be it on-board, track and street action, voiceovers – you name it, I’m into it full steam ahead. I’ve now taken the next step and self-taught myself basic editing skills and have begun dabbling into the production world of web video. The hook is firmly planted and it won’t let go. I knew it was bad when I started making movies of our cat just for kicks. I know, you all are going to make fun of me for it, but what can I say? It’s an addiction.
My latest creation is featured in the
GoPro Product Review, so be sure to click the link and check it out. And let me know what you think. We are always looking to keep you readers glued to the computer, thus your opinions are always

The GoPro Hero in action, mounted on the tail section of Ducati's D16RR with the scribe at the helm.
welcome.
Until next time, this scribe is trading the keypad for the record button. Well, not totally. I’ll still be scribbling the words to go along with the videos as I don’t want to lose my day job...
