Marc Coma is seen out on the streets of Spain delivering packages as he was a courier for a day.
To open the door and find Marc Coma dressed in MRW colours is not something that happens every day. That was an experience some Barcelona residents were able to live, as they saw how the Dakar moved for some hours to the city centre. The three times winner of the toughest rally of the world became, for one day, part of the staff of MRW courier service. With his KTM
450 Rally, the rider from Avià has been seen on the streets delivering packages.
Paseo de Gracia, La Pedrera or La Rambla de Cataluña were some of the areas where Marc Coma and his racing bike have been seen. The current Dakar champion started the day leaving MRW headquarters towards one of its offices in Barcelona, where he collected the deliveries of the day. With the pleasant surprise of those who saw him riding on the streets of the Catalan capital, Coma made the deliveries, in an atypical working day.
With this unique experience, Marc Coma finishes its commitments in Spain and gets ready to travel next week to Mar del Plata, the Argentinean city where the 2012 Dakar will start. From January 1 to 15, the MRW rider will cross Argentina, Chile and Peru —9000 kilometres—, with the aim to achieve in Lima his fourth title and keep making history as the most successful Spanish rider of this category.
