Join Team RawHyde for Dakar 2011 !

No - you won't be actually "in the race" but you'll be the only one who knows that little secret as you thunder by thousands of adoring race fans. One thing is for sure - you will be riding shoulder to shoulder with the real race trucks, cars and motorcycles & you will absolutely be a part of the Adventure of Dakar.

Heres how -

Team RawHyde will "Shadow" the race on a daily basis. You will witness every stage of the race during your two weeks of adventure! Many of the "Liasons" of the race put you on the very same roads and trails that the racers use as they move from stage to stage.

Here is the preliminary "package" for Dakar 2011. The basics are all figured out, and we will be refining the details in the coming weeks.

There will be several options for you to choose from. There is the "full race package" which is a three week extravaganza that includes the start in Buenos Aires and New Years eve on the Parc Ferme. There will be a "Best of Dakar" package which is two weeks beginning and ending in Cordoba, Argentina. This option allows for the traditional American "two week vacation" and it also showcases the most interesting part of the event. This year's race route is shown on a map at the bottom of this email.

You can ship your own bike, or rent a bike!

So here's the plan for Team RawHyde.

We are shipping our own support truck to the event in early December. Our partners at Pampa Adventures will handle the customs and receipt of our truck and any motorcycles that are on board the truck. You can ship your bike with our truck or ship it independently with our help.

The trip will be all inclusive - except for gas for the bikes, and one dinner on our stayover day in Copiapo, Chile.

You will ride approximately 5000 miles on the three week route.
You will ride approximately 3500 miles on the two week route.
You will eat like a king.
You will stay at the best hotels available on the race route.
You will camp at least twice along the route, once in the actual Dakar Bivouac, and once in the amazing Atacama Desert. We will have our very own 5 star bivouac on the race route.
Your ears will ring constantly from the adoring screams of the spectators who line the race route.
All in all - you will have an amazing experience.

**There will be a special training program included in the trip price which will prepare you for the experience (and give you a chance to meet the others that you'll be sharing this remarkable trip with.)

Lastly you will receive a rally package of very cool merchandise which will forever link you to the Dakar. This package will include a "Team RawHyde Rally Suit", a complete set of graphics for your bike, and a top of the line rolling gear bag for all your moto apparel personalized with your name and emblazoned with the logo of the 2011 Dakar.
