Once again the AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship will consist of three series; Expert Singles, Expert Twins and the highly successful Pro Singles.

The season will open during Daytona Bike Week at the new DAYTONA® Flat Track with a TT on Wednesday, March 3rd. Thursday, March 4th will see the first Expert Singles and Pro Singles National on the Short Track configuration.

Next on the schedule will be the first Expert Twins National at a new venue with a Mile at Yavapai Downs in Prescott Valley, AZ, located just north of Phoenix. This will be the first motorcycle race at Yavapai Downs and the only track in the western part of the country to feature Mile Nationals. The series will return to Yavapai Downs in October with back-to-back Nationals.

Inaugural events will be held at Gas City I-69 Speedway in Gas City, IN; The Red Mile in Lexington, KY; Calistoga Speedway in Calistoga, CA; Canterbury Park in Minneapolis, MN and after a long hiatus, the return of I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, MI.

Annual events will continue at the Springfield Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL; Allen County Fairgrounds in Lima, OH; Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD; Beulah Park in Grove City, OH; Peoria Race Park in Peoria, IL and the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, IN.

"The expansion of the series is exciting news for our fans, riders and sponsors," said Mike Kidd, Director of AMA Pro Flat Track. "We continue to work hard to showcase one of the most exciting forms of motorcycle racing in various parts of the country. Our goal is to continue to work with our existing promoters while going out to find aggressive promoters near key markets that will benefit the series."

AMA Pro Racing will continue to look for additional events to help complete a travel pattern as the series moves across the country.
