The heavy rains that saturated the Knoxville Raceway half mile continued overnight forcing Knoxville Raceway and AMA Pro Racing to cancel the once postponed, Round 16 of the AMA Pro K&N Filters Grand National Championship presented by
Motorcycle-Superstore.com.
The decision was made shortly after 10:00 a.m. local time when it was apparent the beautiful facility could not be repaired in time to run the event.
The points races took a dramatic hit with the loss of the next to last race. Zanotti Racing's Jake Johnson has the lead in both the Grand National Championship and the Grand National Twins standings.
