Husqvarna has stepped up with an impressive 2010 Contingency Payout for the 2010 Can-Am
Grand National Cross Country Series. Husqvarna has pledged a grand total of $406, 075 for a variety of youth, amateur and Pro classes.
"Think of it as the Husqvarna Bailout Program," says Husqvarna'a Marketing and Racing Chief Scot Harden. "Even though the economy is going through some tough times, now isn't the time to back down. Our support for all levels of racing has never been stronger. We look forward to re-establishing Husqvarna as the leader in motocross and off-road racing so we are willing to put our money where our mouth is."
Husqvarna will award the XC1 and XC2 Series Champions $5,000, followed by $2,500 for second and $1,000 for third. Husqvarna will payout to the top five finishers for a variety of youth, amateur and pro classes, as well as championship bonus to the top three.

The 2010 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series kicks off on February 27- March 2 as part of Daytona Bike Week at the Westgate River Ranch Resort in River Ranch, Florida, with the Parts Unlimited River Ranch GNCC. ATVs race on Sunday, February 28, and bikes race on Tuesday, March 2.
