I agree with you Jim, And also in the article wrote that the mid range on the 883 hd felt the best of the pack? What gives? How ever I like the price point and the looks of the little sportster. OH! they also said that the sportster was very bottom torque heavy but the Kawasaki 900 custom had the best off the bottom. The dyno chart's are all wrong, They say the V star 950 had the most power in this test but rated third highest on the dyno. Rider magazine rated the v star with about three more hp than the kawi 900-- also beat the Kawasaki in the 0-60 mph and also in the 1/4th mile but not by much. The liquid cooled kawi 900 can and will make more power than all of then with a intake and pipes and a air fuel up grade that will allow the the computer to add the extra fuel where needed. I like the kawi 900 classic and all the shoot out bikes for different reasons.But I think I would rather have the said 900 classic the most. Arless
