Not Only the Usual Suspects
Along with the usual suspects campaigning the 2009 Geico AMA Endurocross series, several prominent big names have arrived. Among them is England’s Graham Jarvis, a former World Trials Champ, Sweden’s Factory Husaberg racer Joakim Ljunggren; however the rumored to return David Knight was a no-show.

Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ricky Dietrich splashes around in the wading pool during the Las Vegas EnduroCross.

Timed Practice Report:
Setting the fastest time and claiming the pole position was KTM’s Mike Brown; just ahead of teammate and new Endurocross Champ Taddy Blazusiak. Setting the third best time was newcomer to AMA Endurocross England’s Graham Jarvis! Christini KTM mounted Geoff Aaron set fourth-fastest lap time; with Monster Energy
Kawasaki riders Damon Huffman and Ricky Dietrich set the fifth and sixth-fastest laps. Setting 11th-fastest was fellow newcomer Joakim Ljunggren; who actually held a top-five time until just near the very end.
Fortunately there were no serious crashes and injuries from practice; however more than one Endurocross regular would add that this has been the toughest track by far! Stay tuned for the main event wrap up.
