Legendary Off-Road racer Johnny Campbell is set to present the inaugural "JCR Honda Baja Charity Award" on behalf of Johnny Campbell and the JCR Honda Off-Road race team. The presentation is set for the “Baja Charity Run 2” the celebration is to be held on Dec 14th 2008 at the Forrester Mansion. The award recognizes and honors businesses or individuals that make substantial contributions to charities’ that operate in Baja, Mexico. Johnny Campbell has been personally active in supporting orphanages and various charities’ in Baja for over a decade and has no intention of stopping or slowing down....
Johnny Campbell: "There is so much need in Baja. When I formed the JCR Honda team I knew I wanted to be able to step up my commitment to support the people of Baja. Baja historian Marty Fiolka and Eric Morley from Blue C produce the Baja Run charity gala focused on raising funds for
aoknick.org and when he offered me the opportunity to create an award that honored others with my same passion for helping the people of Baja there was no hesitation I jumped at the chance. This effort is important to me and I want to challenge other racers that enjoy the Baja to reach out and help the people of the Baja".
