World Trophy Team France held the lead through Day 2 of the 2012 International Six Days Enduro in Germany thanks to the collective efforts of the six-rider squad. French competitors dominated each of the individual classes, with Antoine Meo coming in as the fastest overall in E1, Pierre-Alexandre Renet in E2 and Christophe Nambotin in E3. Team Australia followed as the second-fastest team of the day, over 12 minutes off the lead pace. The Italian team made up ground from their fifth-place showing on Day 1, moving up to third overall in World Trophy standings with Finland and Spain dropping to fourth and fifth, respectively. The US Team held steady in sixth overall, though they are now over 19 minutes behind Team France.

The lone American rider in E1, KTM’s Mike Brown, came in 10th while E2 riders Charlie Mullins and Taylor Robert were sixth and seventh, respectively, in their class. Also in E2, Thad DuVall followed in 11th for the Jr. Trophy squad, and team captain Kurt Caselli was 15th as he shook off the effects of a crash yesterday. Husqvarna rider Andrew DeLong (Jr. Trophy) came across in 23rd with Destry Abbott in 26th.
