ISDE Sardinia Day 4 Results 2013

Antione Meo led among World Trophy riders on Day 4 and holds the top-spot in the overall classification.
The 2013 International Six Days Enduro in Sardinia continued with Day 4 which saw Team France build upon its overall lead in the FIM World Trophy Class. Australia holds to second-place while Team USA sits third.

Antione Meo (E3) led the field among individual riders, winning three of the six Day 4 special tests. Italy’s Alex Salvini (E2) trailed in second thanks to his two test wins and a pair of second-place results. Meo’s teammate, Pierre Alexandre Renet (E2) rounds out the top three. In overall standings through the four days combined, Meo holds the top-spot over Australia’s Daniel Milner. French rider Johnny Aubert trails Milner in third.

American riders in the World Trophy ranks each put in strong performances, with all six riders finishing inside the top-20. Taylor Robert was fastest among his teammates, finishing ninth, followed by Kurt Caselli in 11th, Zach Osborne in 15th and Thad DuVall in 16th. Michael Brown and Charlie Mullins took 18th and 19th respectively. In cumulative time, Team USA trails Australia by 45 seconds. Team France will likely prove a more difficult foe to overcome as they’ve built a gap over 11 minutes wide on their closest competition through Day 4.

In the Junior World Trophy cumulative standings, France leads ahead of Italy in second and Great Britain in third. Team USA sits fourth, six minutes adrift of Great Britian and 12 minutes off the leaders.

French riders Loic Larrieu and Mathias Bellino finished Day 4 first and second, respectively, in the individual rankings, followed by Jamie McCanney of Great Britain in third. American Kaliub Russell was the top US team rider in fifth-place while his closest teammate, Jesse Groemm, finished well behind in 19th.

In the Woman’s standings, the Americans are sixth. Sweden leads the pack ahead of France in second and Australia in third.
