ISDE Team Selection Process Gets Update

AMA Racing
The 2010 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) Nov. 1-6 in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, according to ISDE organizer Luis Otero, is allowing a reduced number of approved riders from each participating country compared to previous years. While AMA Racing originally requested an allowance of 40 riders, the across-the-board reduction has resulted in a final rider count of 34.

This reduction will change how the teams are selected from the preliminary procedures already distributed. As a result, new revised procedures are available at AMARacing.com > Featured Series & Events > International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) Qualifiers.

Below is the statement from Otero explaining this decision:

"We reduced all team requests, except the FMNs with three Club Teams or less. The main reason for reducing the total teams was to continue with our philosophy and our program to have two laps and 3 time checks plus the Paddock. We could have accepted all the Preliminary Entries, but that would take us to one big loop and more Time Checks, increasing the logistics and costs for everyone."

Remember, to download the new procedures, go to AMARacing.com > Featured Series & Events > International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) Qualifiers.

The 2009 Portugal ISDE is finally over and Day 6 again proved to be a challenging one. I got through it without incident but some other riders weren't so lucky.
