I dont have much to say but i had a r1 r6 and its just to fast and not comfortable at all after an hr or two it gets to you. I sold the bilks and buy the new fz6r 2009 and i love it the handlebars and seat are perfect! I'll be on the track with my fz6r top end 140MPH It has great pick up! its a great touring bike and best of all it only cost me $7,200 out the door PAID IN FULL

please do another review show the Yamaha some respect there are a lot of us new to the sport bike world and some of us really depend on this review of beginner to help the best bike thank you

well the new and not improved fz6r poor boy special is everything I do not like about a motorcycle.It's a shame that the Fed's have made the sport bikes nothing more than smog bikes with twindeling performance from uncle sam.We all know that the kids growing up want the plastic cover over there engine and that takes priorty over performance.Hate to see the FZ6 go from the usa only the UK and such will get the naked FZ6 for 2010.Maybe smog laws caused the down grade from one of the best street sport bikes around.Who really knows!!??
