For the first two laps Wilson was practically riding side-to-side with the Floridian Trettel, but then the California native managed to build a slight lead on Lap 4 and started placing pressure on Futrell. However, the Honda rider staved off a charge by Trettel on Lap 6 and then managed to built up enough of an advantage to see him through to the victory.

Trettel claimed second followed by Wilson nearly 20 seconds back from Futrell in third. Justin Weeks, winner of Moto 1 in the 450 A Class, made a remarkable run from 22nd on Lap 1 to take (and hold) fourth from Joshua Thomas on Lap 5. Thomas continued to slip through the ranks. There was a fair amount of position swapping going on throughout Moto 1 of the 250 B Stock Class, however, none of it took place in the front, where Michael Leib rode a lonely race to first. The Menifee, California rider had amassed a gap of over 10 seconds ahead of Zachary Coons and Seth Rarick by the end of Lap 1. Rarick soon crashed out of the running, while Coons relinquished second to Austin Politelli on the same lap.

Kyle Goerke catapulted from 19th on Lap 1 to sixth on Lap 3. The following lap the Floridian took three more positions to claim third for good. Coons crashed on the penultimate lap to lose out on fourth.
