WERA motorcycles usher in VIRginia International Raceway’s spectator race season for 2009 with their March 21-22 race schedule.
“We’re looking at a really great 2009 season at VIR,” said track general manager Josh Lief. “Kicking off the season with WERA’s great motorcycle racing is a fine start for the year. We invite all our fans to come out and help us welcome the new race season.”
WERA motorcycle racers compete on over 50 classes of motorcycles, ranging from 125cc GP bikes to superbikes, with classes arranged to let novices and experts ride safely. Some WERA racers go on to stellar careers in AMA Pro road racing, so this is a great opportunity to see some of the superstars of tomorrow.
Tickets are available at the gate for only $25 for a two-day pass or $15 for Sunday only – come out and enjoy a weekend’s racing at VIR.
