Stuart Easton not only won his second Macau Grand Prix Race, but the Hydrex Honda pilot also broke the lap record in the process. Rivals Conor Cummins crossed the checkers in second with Ian Hutchinson in third, both riding Kawasakis.

Easton quickly built up a sizable lead over the pack setting the lap-record of 2:25.17 seconds on the fifth-lap. But the Scottish rider began to experience traction problems allowing the nearest rival, PBM Kawasaki's Conor Cummins, to catch up. Cummins made the pass on the final lap, but the Flying Scot answered right back and claimed the victory.

Hutchinson brought home his best-ever Macau finish in third on the PMB Kawasaki WSBK Team machine. The fourth-placed Gary Johnson come home a full five-seconds after Hutchinson. BMW's Rico Penzkofer took fifth ahead of Michael Rutter on the Team of Paris-AXA Racing Kawasaki in sixth. Rutter has won the Macau Grand Prix race six-times, the last time being in 2005.

Fellow Kawasaki pilot Simon Andrews crossed the line in seventh. The Brit was followed by Benimoto Suzuki's Luis Carreira in eighth and American Jeremy Toye on the Lee's Cycles Racing machine in ninth. Stephen Thompson took the final top-ten spot on his Robinson Concrete Honda and fellow Americans Mark Miller and Mike Barnes came home in 12th and 13th.
