Anaheim 3 Supercross Results

James Stewart - San Francisco
It won't be long before James Stewart is looking behind him in the championship points battle.
Guess what? James Stewart won and Chad Reed finished second – again. Now that we’ve gotten the boring part out of the way, Davi Millsaps finally reached the podium on his Red Bull Honda. As of late it’s been Ryan Villopoto on the final step, but the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider wasn’t even in the main event, which devastates his chances at a 450 title in his rookie season.

Honda also got a strong performance out of Ivan Tedesco who finished fourth. Both factory Honda riders haven’t been blowing the doors off this season, so a 3-4 ride was just as refreshing as knowing that the tour will not return to Angel Stadium again this season. Josh Grant continued his rock-steady approach in the third appearance at Anaheim and landed in fifth, just ahead of another red duo, Kevin Windham and Andrew Short.

Jake Weimer - San Francisco
Jake Weimer (19) has taken over the title standings from Ryan Dungey (10).
Ryan Morais was able to follow his teammate past Brayton and finish second which left the KTM rider to scrounge the final podium spot. Former points leader, Ryan Dungey, dropped the championship lead to Weimer with his fourth-place result. The Rockstar Makita Suzuki rider now trails his Kawasaki-mounted competitor by three points. Jeff Alessi landed in fifth for his best result of the season.
